Lincoln County: Antique Fence Sections Stolen

LINCOLN COUNTY, Tn. (WHNT)–If you know anything about architectural antiques you know they are highly coveted and also worth a lot of money. Lincoln County, Tennessee investigators say they are looking for the people responsible for stealing some pricey and storied metal but they are not talking silver or gold.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s investigators say on November 30 and again on December 11 more than 30 eight-foot sections of antique cemetery wrought iron fence were stolen. Deputies say this fencing is nearly one hundred years old.

Look closely at these two still shots from surveillance video . The time stamp indicates these were taken after midnight on December 11. Investigators believe the two people shown here are responsible for the theft.


Deputies say they were driving a small SUV, possibly a Jimmy four-by-four or Blazer type vehicle with a small single-axel utility trailer.

If you have any information, there is a large cash reward available of at least $3000.00
