DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – A Morgan County judge has sentenced Michael Clay to life in prison without parole.  Clay murdered Shawn Wydell Smith in January 2010.

Smith, 36, was dating Clay’s former girlfriend at the time of the shooting.  Smith was shot twice, once in the chest and again in the back of the head.
