PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - A stunning new Veterans Memorial Park was formally dedicated in Priceville during ceremonies Sunday afternoon.

The activities began with a Veterans Day parade winding through residential streets, culminating at the new Morgan County Veterans Memorial Park on Highway 67.

The dedication program included honoring veterans from all branches of service, musical tributes, and a 21-gun salute.

The memorial features a black granite monument for each branch of service, listing the names of Morgan County servicemen who paid the ultimate sacrifice. In the center is a bronze statue of a soldier in front of a fallen soldier's gun and helmet.
