HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Huntsville Police say three boxes found outside the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Building were empty.

Police say the wind likely blew the boxes from a nearby dumpster.

Police were called to the building complex on University Square, near The Boardwalk, around 7:30 a.m. Monday to investigate the box, or boxes, found on the east side of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers building.

By 8:45 a.m. Huntsville Police gave the 'all clear' and left the scene, along with Huntsville Fire and HEMSI paramedics.

About 650 employees were evacuated from the building, as well as other nearby buildings.  They were moved nearby while police investigated the situation, according to Debra Valine, chief public affairs spokesperson for the Army Corps of Engineers in Huntsville.

All of the employees are back in their buildings now.
