HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Traffic is moving again on Highway 72 over Chapman Mountain.  However, many drivers were stuck this morning for miles while crews cleared the aftermath of a bad wreck.

The pictures tell it all — the back part of a red Mustang was completely severed.  The driver was trapped, and he was taken to Huntsville Hospital along with the other driver.  Both men were hurt, but we understand the driver of the Mustang was released a few hours later.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the wreck.
