Cole Cubelic Arrested, Charged With DUI

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) -- Former Auburn football player and current sports radio talk show host Cole Cubelic was arrested Friday morning for allegedly driving drunk.

According to Huntsville/Madison County Metro Jail records, Cubelic was booked at 3:40 a.m. Friday.  He's charged with Driving Under the Influence, having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle, and speeding.

A Huntsville Police spokesman says a DUI enforcement officer pulled Cubelic over and made the arrest.

Cubelic hosts a sports radio show on 97.7 The Zone.  He also serves as an Auburn football analyst on select Auburn broadcasts.

A spokesman for 97.7 The Zone says the company is still gathering information about the arrest and do not have a comment at this time.
