Madison County Jailer Appears In Court For Public Drunkenness

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – A Madison County jailer was in court Friday morning.  Wayne Bolt was arrested by Madison Police at an apartment complex last month.

Bolt is charged with public drunkenness.  He pleaded guilty to the charge.

Municipal Judge R. Wayne Wolfe issued Bolt a fine of more than $500 dollars and a 30-day jail sentence, but then suspended the sentence.

Bolt could go to jail if he does not pay the fine by December.
