SECTION, Ala. (WHNT) Family and friends held a candlelight vigil Tuesday evening for Stephanie Black Williams, a teacher from Section School, they are praying for a miracle.

Mrs. Stephanie as the kids in the small country school call her has an aggressive form of ovarian cancer and doctors don't think  she has very much time left. The grim diagnosis though is not stopping everyone in Section from hoping for a miracle.

Since Mrs. Stephanie was told she had cancer last August the school has rallied behind her, setting up prayer vigils, a Walk for Life team and creating T-shirts.

Williams has two teenage children, both of whom are students in the school. Her daughter has been selected to the Homecoming court and family members say Stephanie has vowed to watch her in the parade later this month.
