Late Night Stabbing in Huntsville Sends One to Hospital

HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WHNT) – The Huntsville Police Department is investigating a stabbing that happened around 11:30 Tuesday night in North Huntsville.

The incident happened in the 2300 block of Medaris Road.  According to family members, a cousin came into the home wanting to fight 31-year-old J.C. Sanderson.  They say a fight ensued, and Sanderson was stabbed once in the stomach.

HEMSI paramedics transported Sanderson to Huntsville Hospital in serious condition.
