Shoals Area Crimestoppers: Man Steals Vodka From Florence Liquor Store

Florence Police are investigating a liquor store break-in.  However officers say money was not the thief's motive.

Police say a man threw a cinder block through the front door of Dandy’s Discount Package store on Florence Boulevard on July 30th around 4

But police say the man didn't go for the usual target-a cash register full of money.  Instead officers say the guy went straight to the shelves and loaded up on liquor.

According to investigators, the man only stole vodka.  Detectives say the man was inside for just 15 seconds, but police say he got away with four large bottles of alcohol worth more than $100 dollars.

This weeks Shoals Area Most Wanted comes from the Russellville Police Department. 

Police say Melissa Green has been indicted by a grand jury for possession of a forged instrument.

Officers want Omar Juarez off the streets for giving police a fake identity to obstruct justice.

Michael Gilliland is wanted by Russellville Police for theft of property.
