Tuscaloosa, Ala. – The Crimson Tide began its Thursday practice session outdoors, but was then pushed inside to the Hank Crisp Practice Facility as inclement weather moved into the area. The practice marked the 17th of fall camp thus far for Alabama.

“This week in practice the focus is on improvement,” said Alabama head coach Nick Saban. “Every day we are trying to expose our players to some different game-like situation that they need to be able to understand and manage.”

The Tide will meet one more time on Friday to prepare for the Saturday scrimmage, its second of fall camp. Following the scrimmage, the team will have two off days before starting a normal game-week schedule on Tuesday, August 21.

“I am really looking forward to Saturday’s scrimmage,” said sophomore defensive back Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. “I want to do better than I did in the first scrimmage and just come out and play hard. During practice, it is more mental, and in the scrimmage its more physical and game-like.”
