Huntsville Police are investigating a Wednesday night armed robbery to the Arby’s on Memorial Parkway near Governors Drive.

According to witnesses, just before midnight the suspect jumped over the counter and demanded the clerk give him the money from the register.  They also say the man was using a purple gun during the robbery.

Customers scared off the man before he could get any money out of the register.  He fled across Memorial Parkway and down Governors Drive.

Huntsville Police officers took a man in for questioning at the intersection of Braham Avenue and Seminole Drive.  They say he fled from police and matched the description given by the Arby’s customers.
