The Company’s manufacturing assets are located in Decatur, AL, Cooper River, SC, and Texas City, TX and are integrated with two of the nation???s largest refineries.

The Technical Recruiter is a contract position for approximately 6 months that will be responsible for recruiting activities at plant sites and will include
assisting the location HR Manager with full cycle recruiting activities for salaried positions including sourcing, interviewing, tracking, negotiating, documenting and reporting.

Technical Recruiter Responsibilities:
-Responsible for all aspects of attraction, sourcing, selection and hiring of experienced candidates while also serving as the primary focal point for the hiring managers and business HR Managers.
-Consult with HR managers on overall hiring process, collaborate on job requisition details and creation, planning and implementation of recruitment strategies and to attract and select top talent.
-Act as the liaison between Line, HR and candidates
-Participate in the selection process to include assessing candidate applications, phone screening, interviewing (if available), and recommending finalists, offer management and filling the staffing needs within the defined criteria.
-Generates qualified candidates through cost-effective and strategic channels including, direct recruiting, employee referrals, external agencies, Internet job boards and other media advertisements, and networking.
-Ensure all internal recruitment policies and practices are adhered to and applicants are tracked in the Applicant Tracking System.
-Identify and develop relationships with organizations and other sources that will yield opportunities to interface with potentially qualified candidates while marketing the Company as an employer of choice.
-Ensure compliance with policies as well as with all federal and state regulatory requirements.
-Collaborate with HR Managers and clients for the selection and use of agencies as part of an overall staffing plan
-Participate in career fairs, conferences and other attraction/sourcing events as needed
-Maintain compliant job files that include up to date records of all recruitment, selection and staffing process activities.
-Ensure internal clients receive necessary and appropriate information to effectively interview and process referred candidates.
-As required, provide guidance to make certain managers are prepared to interview candidates within the constructs of employment laws.
-Work with hiring managers to ensure a smooth, effective and compliance oriented recruiting process.
-Participate in diversity recruitment initiatives to ensure that a diverse candidate pool has been identified; integrate efforts with college recruiting and other recruitment processes.
-Measure ongoing performance through metrics, can pull appropriate reports and recommend ongoing improvement to strengthen results

Technical Recruiter Skills & Experience:
-Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related discipline from an accredited four-year university required.
-Minimum 5-8 + years of experience in proactively recruiting and sourcing salaried exempt, non-exempt and hourly positions
-Proficient with implementing ???creative??? recruitment sourcing strategies; well versed in high-volume recruitment processes, including strong record in reducing the time to fill open roles, and working effectively with internal clients and external vendors
-Strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills highly preferred
-Proficient with using an applicant tracking system; Kenexa Brass Ring experience is desired
-Proven ability to work under pressure and accommodate changing demands
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
