Batman Fans React to Colorado Theater Shooting

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) Across the country fans of The Dark Knight Rises packed theaters waiting to be the first to see the third and final installment of the Batman trilogy.

Here in the Tennessee Valley hundreds of tickets were sold. The excitement and joy quickly turned to fear and disbelief as movie goers got out of those early morning showings and started hearing reports from Colorado.

Friday Batman fans buying tickets to see the movie had mixed feelings following the theater shooting. While most everyone WHNT News 19 crews talked with outside local movie theaters still feel safe inside theaters here, they still are on edge.
