ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Albertville police say a Monday night shooting began as a case of road rage.   It ended with one man shot in the foot.

The shooting happened in the front yard of a home on Devon Circle just before 10pm Monday.   However, Albertville Police Chief Doug Pollard says it began on Goodwin Road as a case of road rage between Charles Michael Armstrong and Adam Graham.

The chief says Armstrong followed Graham back to his(Graham's) home where the argument escalated.  The chief says Graham told Armstrong to leave his property and when he would not, Graham fired one shot at Armstrong hitting him in the foot.

Armstrong was taken to Marshall Medical Center South where he was treated and released.   Chief Pollard says no charges have been filed in the case.
