Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) - We may be two weeks into the Tour de France, but pro cycling has made its way to the streets of downtown Huntsville.

It's the annual Rocket City Omnium.

In the final day, racers in the Pro 1/2/3/4 classification traveled a course featuring six corners, .7 miles with a few elevation changes and the duration lasting roughly one hour.

Though Macon, Georgia's Christian Parrett won the race, several other local cyclists performed well.  Robert Vachon from Bicycle Works finished ninth.

In other races, Ryan Jones from Madison Cycles placed eighth in Category 3.  In Category 5, Madison Cycle's Ricky Trussell finished in eighth-place.  Finally, in the Masters division, Vachon posted a top-three finish.
