Saturday was a fun-filled day for folks at Friendship United Methodist Church in Athens.

Ability Plus teamed up with Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc., Sci-Quest, Constitution VIllage, and other local organizations for the 3rd Annual Fun Day.

The event is held annually for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Tennessee Valley.

This year's event included face painting, water balloons, an inflatable slip-and-slide, and a card-making station where participants could send letters to the troops.

Ability Plus President and CEO, Keith Bedsole says, "It's an anticipated event every year, we could not have asked for a better turn-out."
