HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – After two years at WHNT News 19 covering sports and morning news, Christine Killimayer is leaving television.

But, we’re happy to say she won’t be too far away.  Killimayer has accepted a position in media services at Teledyne Brown in Huntsville. Her last day at WHNT News 19 is today (Thursday).

Christine worked as a sports anchor/reporter during her first 18 months at WHNT News 19.  She covered both Auburn and Alabama’s BCS National Championship runs.  In January, Killimayer decided to try her hand at news, taking over the station’s morning show reporter position.

Though sad to leave her WHNT News 19 family behind, Christine is excited for this new chapter in her life.  We hate to see Christine go, but we wish her the best!
