Preliminary Hearing Wednesday for Accused Auburn Shooter
LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Accused Auburn Shooter Desmote Leonard will be in court Wednesday afternoon for his preliminary hearing.
Leonard is charged with capital murder and assault after six people were shot outside an apartment complex, not far from the Auburn University campus. Three people died, two were former Auburn football players.
District Judge Russell Bush will decide whether to send the case to a grand jury for possible indictment.
