Bridgeport Shoplifting Suspect Escapes Arrest, On The Loose

The Bridgeport Police Department is looking for 31 year old Kandice Nicole Rector of Marion County, Tennessee.

Police say Rector was arrested in Bridgeport just before 10 p.m. Friday night for shoplifting at the Dollar General and was charged with 3rd degree theft and resisting arrest. 

According to the chief, after being handcuffed and put in the back of an officer’s patrol car the officer went back into the Dollar General Store to return the stolen merchandise.

When the officer returned back to the patrol car Rector was gone.

On top of earlier charges, she is now being charged with escape.

Rector is 5’5′” and 129 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
