For the first time in the 54-year history of Huntsville Speedway, the track hosted racing on a Tuesday night.  This night featured the Southern Superstars Late Models.

But before the main event came out, fans were treated to some other fantastic events.  The first race featured Mod Lites which feature chassis similar to Dwarf cars.  Randall Ham from Fort Payne won that event.  He was leading in the points standings going into the race.

Then, the Super Trucks came out and things got tight midway through the race.  Jim Wall raced side-by-side with Parker Henneger for most of the race.  After a number of cautions, Wall continued to lead with single file restarts.  His truck held up and the third-generation driver from Madison won first-place.

Racing at Huntsville Speedway continues through September.
