Spring and Summer can be a busy time for North Alabama Wildlife Rehabilitators, which takes in injured or abandoned birds, possums, deer and more. 

The number of babies born at this time of year increases and so does the number of people reporting animals being abandoned and needing care. 

But did you know most wildlife that are rescued are simply a case where babies were left temporarily by their moms.
