Athens Utilities Warns of Possible Scam Using Their Name

Athens Utilities says they have learned that customers may be getting fraudulent emails requesting credit card payment for their utility bills.  They say the email makes it seem like the customer has to pay the bill immediately. 

Neither Athens Utilities nor their billing agent has sent any email of this nature.

Athens Utilities asks customer to ignore the email.  Please do not pay or enter any personal information at the link provided.  They also ask that you forward the email to
