Lawrence County deputies arrest couple and a friend living on a school bus. Deputies say when they busted into the bus, they saw two people popping pills out of blister packs, a prelude to making meth.

It all started when Lauderdale County deputies called their counterparts in Lawrence County, saying they had information that Patrick Venturi would be at 22322 County Road 150 in Lawrence County.  Deputies say they recognized the address as a place known for drug activity, so they called in North Courtland Police and the Lawrence County Drug Task Force.  They raided the school bus, parked at the B&J Campground.

Deputies arrested Patrick Venturi on the warrant out of Lauderdale County, for not paying child support.  They also arrested Billy Joe Thornton for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, and Veronica Dabbs for unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance.
