According to the National Retail Federation, shoppers will spend an average of $117.14 on Father’s Day gifts this year.  That’s up 10 percent from last year.  But with Father’s Day just hours away, you don’t have the time or money to worry about that.

Here are some last minute tips to make Dad feel like a champ:

  • The Mancrate starting at $54.99: Order a crate full of themed items, like nuts and beer bottles, from It comes with a crow bar that you have to use to open it.
  • iPhone Apps: You can buy apps for your dad based on his different hobbies or interests.  Here’s a cool one: The iHandy Carpenter App for $1.99.  Get 5 professional tools in 1 App at only half the price of buying each. This is the lightest carpenter tool belt in the world!
  • Magazine cover for $12:95: lets you upload a photo and plug in captions to create a customized magazine cover you can print out yourself and hand deliver on Father’s Day.
  • Break a Sweat (For Free): The problem with buying things for adults is that they already have what they want. So find out what dad needs done around the house, grab some gloves and show your appreciation through sweat.  Happy Father’s Day!
