Police say Zachary Lord cashed a phony check worth nearly $400 at a Foodland grocery store in Florence.

Detectives say someone recognized the man in the surveillance video after WHNT News 19’s Crimestoppers report aired last night and called in a tip.

Lord is charged with theft and forgery.

Detectives say he worked with another man who is not in custody yet, but they are working on leads to make that happen.
