Daniel Wade Moore will stand trial again in Morgan County, this time for burglary.  The trial is scheduled to begin Monday, June 18 at 9 a.m.

Moore and his attorney Joe Powell met with prosecutors Thursday, in a settlement docket, to try to reach a plea deal.  However, Powell said they were unable to reach agreement, so they will proceed to trial.

Moore is charged in a burglary of a Wally World convenience store in Decatur on June 12, 2011.  Police say surveillance video clearly shows him stealing items.

Moore's mother attended her son's court appearance Thursday, but did not comment about it.

Daniel Moore has been in and out of jail since 1999, when he was accused of murdering Karen Tipton in Decatur.  He was convicted and sentenced to death for it, but was later acquitted of the charges in a re-trial.
