Police have arrested two men following a shooting in Auburn late Saturday night.  Meanwhile, dozens of law enforcement officers continue to look for the main suspect, Desmonte Leonard.

On Monday, Auburn Police arrested Jeremy S. Thomas, 18, of Montgomery.  He is charged with hindering prosecution first degree.

Jeremy Thomas is one of three people, along with Leonard, who fled the scene following Saturday night's shooting on Longleaf Drive in Auburn.  Three people were killed and three were wounded.

Thomas is currently being held in Montgomery, where police are interrogating him.  He will be brought back to the Lee County Detention Center soon.

Police arrested Gabriel Thomas, 41, separately.  He is charged with providing false information as police searched for Leonard in Montgomery.

Nine government agencies, including the U.S. Marshal Service and the FBI, are helping with the investigation.

Police believe Desmonte Leonard is in the Montgomery area.  If you have any information pertaining to the case, please call Auburn Police at (334) 501-3140 or anonymously by text or voice to the tip line at (334) 246-1391.
