A Decatur man who was murdered last Saturday was buried today.  In a strange turn of events, his best friend was shot at a memorial gathering for him.

Glenn Blackwood's funeral was earlier today.  Around 2:30 p.m. Decatur Police were called to Chestnut Street to investigate another shooting.

Witnesses say after the funeral, family and friends had gathered for a barbecue.  Blackwood's best friend, Comac Love, had been a pallbearer at the service.  Love got in a physical altercation with someone in the backyard, and was shot in the neck.

Witnesses say Love staggered to the front area of the home and collapsed.  Someone called 911, and paramedics came and rushed him to Decatur General.  Love was later flown to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

Police are looking for Ronnie Boyd Elliot, Jr. in the shooting.  They say he is considered armed and dangerous.

Friday's shooting happened next door to 1613 Chestnut Street, the location where Blackwood was shot last Saturday morning.

On the same day Blackwood was buried, three teenagers were arrested and charged in his death.  Each is charged with capital murder.
