Former Bob Jones pitcher Trey Wingenter had a big decision to make: attend Auburn University or play professional baseball straight out of high school?

Trey chose the former.

Wingenter spoke to the Seattle Mariners at length about where they wanted to draft him and how much money they'd be willing to offer.  Wingenter said it would not be enough, so after his draft stock slid to the 36th round, Wingenter said the decision to attend Auburn was an obvious one.
