Etowah County Man Hurt in Afghanistan Now Back in U.S.

Josh Wetzel who was hurt last week in Afghanistan is now back in the United States.   The army specialist was hurt during an explosion.  Surgeons had to remove both of his legs.

He is now recovering at Walter Reed Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.   Loved ones created a Facebook page June 1 called Prayers for Josh Wetzel so others interested in his story can get updates.

Wetzel is from the Etowah County town of Glencoe.   His wife Paige is from Fort Payne.
