Huntsville Police are investigating two robberies that happened at bargain stores less than 15 minutes apart.

The first holdup was at the Dollar General on Meridian Street, near Oakwood Avenue.  Huntsville Police tell WHNT News 19 that two men, one armed with a pistol, walked into the store and robbed it around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Fifteen minutes later, the Family Dollar on Winchester Road was robbed.  Police have not said if the two robberies are related, because the investigation continues.

So far, no arrests have been made in either case.
