When the Sprint Cup traveled to Talladega Superspeedway at the beginning of May, several drivers complained there were too many wrecks.  But those who understand the history of the track know dangerous crashes have been a part of Talladega since the beginning.

Phil Parsons had a serious wreck almost 30 years ago.  But somehow that car wound up in the Tennessee Valley.
