Alabama Supreme Court Says It Won’t Hear Albarran’s Appeal

New information concerning a man convicted of killing a Huntsville police officer.  Friday, the Supreme Court of Alabama ruled it would not hear Benito Albarran’s appeal.

Albarran was convicted in 2008 for the murder of Daniel Golden, three years prior.

Albarran is currently on death row.

The Equal Justice Initiative, based in Montgomery, is handling Albarran’s appeal. We could not reach them for comment.
