SEC Coaches Don’t Want Only Conference Champs To Play For Title

If you assume we are headed to a four-team playoff as the new format for how college football will determine a national champion, the obvious follow-up question is: how will these teams get picked?

One idea tossed around is only to have conference champions compete for the crystal ball.  This proposition would end any chance of a rematch like we saw last year between two league foes, like Alabama and LSU.  

But this idea does not seem to be a popular one among coaches in the Southeastern Conference.
