Motorcycle Crash Forces Ryland Pike Closure

A motorcycle wreck forced rescue crews to  shut down Ryland Pike at U.S. 72 Tuesday evening.

Emergency workers told WHNT News 19 the unidentified rider was the only person involved in the crash. His injuries are described as not serious.

Ryland Pike was closed for about an hour. There is no word if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
