Woman Accused Of Trying To Rob Two Shoals Businesses

Lauderdale County deputies continue their search for an attempted robber who tried to hold up two businesses Friday night.  She didn’t get money from either place.

The accused female robber is shown on surveillance camera in the Subway in Elgin.  Investigators say the woman walked in the restaurant and demanded money from the register.  The clerk refused to give her the money and the woman left.

Moments later, the woman tried the same thing at the Minnow Bucket Convenience Store near Rogersville, and again, the clerk didn’t give her any money.

Investigators say the woman was driving a black Oldsmobile Alero with a sun roof.
