Circus Walk Tentatively Scheduled For 6:30am Wednesday

The Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus will be in Huntsville for a series of shows this weekend.  The popular Animal Walk is tentatively scheduled for early Wednesday morning.

If you want to see it, get the kids up early, because the circus workers are tentatively scheduled to walk the animals at 6:30 a.m.  Please note this time is subject to change due to train arrival.  The train is coming from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The animals will walk from the railroad depot on Church Street, down Monroe Street to the Von Braun Center.  The walk is approximately half a mile.

Ringling Bros. Circus presents ‘Dragons’ on this visit.  Here are the show dates and times:

  • Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. — WHNT Night!
  • Friday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 28 at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 and 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 29 at 11:30 a.m. 3:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The North Alabama Food Bank will be on site Friday through Sunday to collect canned goods and monetary donations.  Anyone who donates five canned goods will receive a $10 ticket voucher good for the Sunday 7:30pm show.  You can take items by the Food Bank to get the voucher, or get it at any circus show, including Sunday night.

The Food Bank of North Alabama is located at 2000 Vernon Avenue SW in Huntsville.
