HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Join us on Saturday, April 21 for our annual Hands-on Trucks event at Sci-Quest, Hands-on Science Center. Sci-Quest partners with local organizations to bring different vehicles for children to get a unique, hands-on experience.

Children can get behind the wheel and explore a variety of their favorite vehicles and meet the men and women who drive the trucks. From ice cream trucks to fire engines, Sci-Quest assembles a variety of vehicles for this day of fun.

This year, there will be an array of vehicles, from the Blue Bell Ice Cream truck to the City of Huntsville Animal Services vehicle to the Huntsville Hospital Mobile Medical Unit.

“Hands-on Trucks is one of our most popular family events; kids just love being able to climb in the different vehicles and getting that hands-on experience that they have never had before,” said Cyndy Morgan, executive director of Sci-Quest.

Hands-on Trucks is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is included with Sci-Quest general admission. For more information about Hands-on Trucks and to see a list of confirmed vehicles, visit
