Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man following a call to the See Meth Stop Meth tip line.

The man, Shannon Edward Hill, is in jail on drug charges.  His father is charged with threatening an officer.

Deputies got a tip Hill was involved in the manufacturing and distribution of meth.  Drug agents made an undercover buy from Hill and arrested him at a family member’s home.

They say Hill’s father, Mickey Joe Hill, phoned the undercover agent and made death threats.  He was arrested and charged with making a terrorist threat and intimidating a witness.
