Danny Petty Retires

He's the only Alabama high school basketball coach to win state championships at three different schools.  He's also been on the sidelines for 41 years.  Now, he's calling it quits.

Bob Jones' Danny Petty is retiring.  He made the decision after feeling good about his eventual transition, finishing the 2011-12 regular season with a 27-2 record and knowing it was time for him to move on.  Of all of his achievements, there's one he's most proud of, the 2010 State Championship.
