Three Inmates in Custody Following Jail Break

Officers in east Alabama have located all three men who broke out of the Russell County Jail Thursday night.

41-year-old Charles Smith was caught Friday morning, but 30-year-old Adam Barringer and 27-year-old John Hendrix remained on the loose until Friday afternoon. They were caught around 3:00 p.m.

Barringer was convicted of murder last week.

Hendrix was being held on drug and theft charges.

The men escaped through a damaged portion of the jail got away over the razor-wire fencing.
