To Celebrate the centennial of the man who led America to the moon, and made Huntsville the Rocket City there will be a party at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

Lockheed Martin is the sponsor of the party which will feature German food, and is intended as a fun even.  There’s a special treat with one of Von Braun’s Daughters, Maria on hand to give a tribute to her father.

The event is open to the public, but only as long as tickets last.  Tickets are $100.00 each, and you can get yours by calling the Von Braun Center Ticket Counter at 256-721-7160.

WHNT News 19’s Steve Johnson will be the Master of Ceremony for the evenings events.
