Elections pack the calendar for 2012.  But if you plan on voting, you’ll need to make sure you’re registered first.

To do that, you’ll need to head to your local board of registrars.  You just need to bring some ID with you.

The Madison County Board of Registrars is located on the fifth floor of the Madison County Courthouse.

The deadline to register to vote in the March 13 primary is Friday, March 2.

In general, you need to register 10 days before the election you plan to vote in.  But once you’re registered, you’re set for future elections.
