The Alabama Supreme Court has set an execution date for Tommy Arthur.  Arthur, one of the longest serving inmates on Alabama’s death row, is scheduled to die on March 29.

Three juries convicted Arthur of the 1982 murder-for-hire killing of Muscle Shoals businessman Troy Wicker.  He’s been on death row since 1983.
