Volunteers Needed To Help Clean Up Campground At Lake Guntersville State Park

There's a way you can help the Lake Guntersville State Park and also stay there for free.

The park was hit hard on April 27, 2011.  While it's back open, there is still quite a bit of work to be done.

I you volunteer to help in the campground, you can camp at a site for free.  WHNT News 19's Carson Clark has more in the video included with this story.

Volunteer help has been crucial to getting the park back up and running.
