State Troopers say the three were in a Toyota 4 Runner headed south on Highway 231 between Lacey’s Spring and Morgan City when the vehicle caught fire.   Two men suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns and were taken to Huntsville Hospital.

A woman in the vehicle had to be flown to UAB’s burn center.  There is no official word on what caused the explosion.
