Havoc Netminder Beech Shuts Out Ice Flyers

Just when the Huntsville Havoc needed a win the most, goalie Kevin Beech stepped up and made 25 saves in a 3-0 shutout over the Pensacola Ice Flyers Sunday afternoon.

Justin Fox got the Havoc on the board first when he scored a powerplay goal with 14:10 left in the first period. The game would remain that way through the first two periods of play.

Jeff Hazelwood added the second powerplay goal of the night for the Havoc with 15:18 left in the third and Brad Flynn added an unassisted goal with 5:12 remaining in the game.

Corey Milan finished with 19 saves in the loss as Pensacola outshot Huntsville 25-22.

The Havoc will stay on the road for the rest of this week with games in Southaven on Tuesday night before heading to Fayetteville on Friday night and Knoxville on Saturday night.
