HUNTSVILLE, AL—

The "OveGlove" is one of the best items we've ever tested on Deal or Dud.  When we bought it for $9.99 in December of 2009, we picked up hot cookie sheet, changed hot light bulbs, put a protected hand on a gas grill and played with flaming logs in a fireplace.

I never came close to getting a burn.  It was great.

Now there is a new version of the "OveGlove" and it's ever better. It's called "The Anti-Steam OveGlove." It's gone up in price. The new version cost $19.99.

The front of the box shows someone picking up corn on the cob with tongs.  There is a new liner inside of the glove that claims to keep you safe from steam burns.

I actually put my hand, covered by the "The Anti-Steam OveGlove" into boiling water and didn't come close to being burned.

WARNING: FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. WE DELIBERATELY DID NOT FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS SO WE COULD TEST THE PRODUCT.  DON'T TRY TO REPEAT WHAT WE DID WITH THE ANTI-STEAM OVEGLOVE. YOU WILL GET HURT. DON'T DO IT.

The "Anti-Steam OveGlove" is a resounding DEAL! It's a particularly good product for a senior citizen who still like to cook in the kitchen.  Great product!
