…Locally dense fog possible across northwest Alabama early this
morning…

Locally dense fog will impact portions of Lauderdale and Colbert
counties early this morning. The fog will be most significant in the
immediate vicinity of the Tennessee River including the cities of
Florence, Tuscumbia and Muscle Shoals, where visibility may be
reduced to below one quarter of a mile. Conditions will begin to
improve rather quickly after sunrise, with the fog expected to
dissipate by 8 AM CST. Motorists are urged to use caution if fog is
encountered while traveling this morning.
